Selling Used Books
A great way to earn cash, is to sell books online. This doesn’t mean you have to sell used books, or books from your own house or collection because there are plenty of ways to pick up books for incredibly low prices all over the internet. Plus there is also ample opportunity to then sell books at massive mark-ups.
What we are going to do, is capitalise on peoples trust. That sounds really bad, I know. But I don’t mean it in that way.
Ask yourself the question: “Where do I go to buy a book online?”
Answer: Amazon or ebay.
Ok, some of you might have answered differently, but I’m talking about what the majority will do. And these are the places where the masses will go. So quite simply, we’re going to buy books cheap, from fairly unknown sources, then sell them to the masses via Amazon and ebay.
I want you guys to understand that this isn’t something that will let you quit your full time job and start working 3 hours a week, earning $100,000 a year. But it could earn you a good few hundred bucks more every month, which could end up paying for a car or something.
I said at the top, that we won’t be selling used books, but there will be space for this as well, once you get going. If you go to a local charity shop, they’re normally selling books for less than a buck. These are books that you could easily sell for $5 on the web. That $4 profit might not sound like much, but do it 50 times and you’ve made $200. And selling books really isn’t hard.
Selling books online is what I did with a bit of my spare time when I was at college, to make extra money for all the drink and drugs (joking about the drugs) but I did get hammered a lot. It’s a fantastic way for teens to make money online, or if you’re a housewife/husband, or if you’re retired. Just please don’t go buying into products telling you you’re going to make thousands every week. That’ll only happen if you start selling books full time as a dealer….. which is probably pretty boring (unless you’re into that sort of thing)
